Stepped way at Peechi, Thrissur

This sloping steps "under the influence" of a grove of forest trees can only be seen at Peechi dam, Thrissur. It is designed to amuse you when you look back from the top of this long stepped way.

Food

Can this food attract the birds? A purposefully made wooden platform hung on an arecanut tree, on which food is spread for birds. An adjacent coconut shell with water can be a perfect fit but it is missing.

Pavizhamalli

Pavizhamalli, the colloquial name in Malayalam. This was once widely seen everywhere in Kerala but now the presence of it is decreasing.
